What is surf coaching and who is it for?

Latas Surf puts at your disposal the experience of our instructors who are not only great professionals in surf teaching but are also top-level surfers, experts in big waves and safety in the water.
Our surf coaching and surf video analysis service is aimed at people with a minimum of experience in the water, who are in the process of evolving and want to accelerate their progress with a personalized coaching service.

All the instructors who teach surf coaching are Level 2 Sports Technicians. They are great connoisseurs of Somo and Loredo beach and know in detail all its peculiarities (currents, tides, the best peaks according to your level…) they will teach you most important aspects in surfing.
VIDEO ANALYSIS OPTIONS
2 Options
Choose the option that best suits your goals and improve your technique with a comprehensive service where you will more easily detect your most common mistakes.
1. Full Pack: Video Analysis + Surf Coaching
Aimed at surfers with a minimum of surfing experience. In the video correction session, we will analyze your level, we will evaluate your technique and the current state of your performance; We will correct all the movements that can be improved so that they are carried out correctly with the aim of accelerating your evolution and optimizing your surf sessions. You will have a FILMER who will be in charge of recording the entire session from the sand for analysis and an instructor who will be with you throughout the session helping you and guiding you at all times (access to the peak, positioning on the breaker, wave selection, etc). In this way you will get the most out of the session since the instructor will facilitate all the work so that, later, we can work with a large amount of material to be analyzed back at Latas Surf Camp.

- 2 hours duration + session analysis class at Latas Surf House.
- Surf material included. Both high-performance technical material and learning tables.
- Neoprene suit suitable for the water temperature
- Planning goals for the session
- FILMER staff on the ground recording the entire session for analysis.
- TD2 surf instructor (Sports technician specialized in high-performance training) in and out of the water.
- Transport, if required, to the spot with best conditions for the session and level of the athlete.
- Analysis, video correction and editing of the surf session.
- Personalized surf planning for the athlete for application in the following sessions

2. Video analysis
Focused on intermediate level surfers who are self-sufficient, confident and independent in the water. In the video correction session, we will analyze your level, evaluate your surfing technique and your current performance. Later, we will correct the technique and we will guide you to improve the movements that you already perform correctly, as well as help you to perform those that you are not able to do yet. The FILMER will be recording you throughout the session and once back at Latas Surf House , your TD2 instructor will analyze all the video material in a personalized way, giving you all the necessary feedback.
