Surf

One advantage of the central atolls is the accessibility to diverse surf breaks that are exposed to a wide range of wave directions, from southwest to southeast. All the surf spots are just a short boat ride away from the island and are close to each other, allowing for quick changes between spots. Thaa Atoll collects many waves from the south to southeast, making it a pleasant place to surf in stable weather conditions. Here, you'll find consistent waves and excellent barrels. Medium-sized waves are ideal. Some of the standout spots include Malik's (fast left), Finnimas (shallow left), and Mikados (excellent barrels). These waves cater to surfers of all levels, from expert riders seeking tubes on high-performance boards to weekend enthusiasts having fun on more playful boards. Additionally, there are options of varying degrees of intensity, both rights and lefts, at various spots.
