OUR SURF SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS
Paco is the soul of Latas Surf School. A very experience surfing instructor always ready to make you laugh, give you the tips that you need and making sure you have the most fun in and out of the water. Moreover he will teach you some slices of surf theory so you gain more insight about the world of surfing.
Matteo grew up skiing and snowboarding in the Italian Alps and his passion for the ocean got him to be a surf instructor in Australia. He loves outdoor sports and practicing yoga after surfing. But above all: “It’s a unbeliavable feeling seeing a person cathching their first wave!”
Graduated in Sports Science, Juande spends his years between the snow and the sea. He took his first wave with Paco in Loredo’s beach and he will give you all the information necessary about the surfing rules, safety advice and tricks which will help you become a much better surfer.
Young and highly skilled “guerrilla” surf instructor: a great skater, former competition swimmer, and a certified lifeguard, he’s changed training surfing teams for sharing his passions with the most unexperienced. He will always push you until you get the perfect wave.
A true passionate of the ocean, you will often see her cruising and enjoying the waves on her longboard. She loves travelling, nature and animals and when she’s not surfing you might find her at the Latas bar, smiling at you and always making great coffee ready to go.
Coming straight from the Netherlands, Jasper is finishing his studies on phisiotheraphy in Barcelona. He loves travelling and discovering new surfing spots all around the world but for now, he’s going to be here with us, helping you catching waves and giving you all the help you need.
If you have been already surfing with us, you probably know him. Angus is the key member of Latas Surf School. He will go with you on your way to the beach, help you warm up and wait until you take your last wave. A true surfing partner.
Just one thing: he might look hungry but he’s always well fed 🙂
