It’s considered by many as the best surf spot in th whole area. It has a world-class righthand reef break with barrel waves and large swells. It also “features” a left one that’s only surfed by the craziest ones. You can find riders training for the big wave competition of La Vaca Gigante.

Somo and Loredo beach: the perfect place to learn how to surf or take your surfing to the next level
As we’ve mentioned above, Somo is a great place for initiating yourself “surfing in spanish” if you haven’t tried it yet. It becomes also a great choice if you’re already an experimented surfer but you’d like to consolidate your level or go a step further. As for the surfing culture, it welcomes people from all over Europe as well as solo surfers, groups and families. Indeed a great spot for enjoying nature and surfing in Spain and Europe.
