There are a lot of great Surf Camps and organized travel groups but unfortunately, a lot of them lack a lot of essential facilities and that can make your experience not as pleasant as is suppossed to be. Its very easy to fall in love with a lot of surf camp instagram accounts that not necessarily correspond with actual life. There are many (And one of the most famous) that you will find to be a complete nightmare in case you want to go to the toilet or the beach. Miles away, no light, walking on mud or not being able to surf after taking your heavy foamie surfboard all the way to the beach. If you really want to have a perfect surf camp experience, we highly recommend you to get all the basic information prior to your booking and, above all, don’t trust those super cute instagram profiles.
Surf lessons: surf instructors per person and a variety of good equipment
It might be your first time doing surf or you might be an experienced one and you want to improve your level. What you should be looking for when choosing a surf camp is a surf school that teaches all levels and offers a good students/instructor ratio. Also, is very important that those surf schools have all types of boards and wetsuits so you can improve your level according to your body size and enjoy surfing whether is spring or summer. It’s too common to find surf camps that have a surprising amount of students per instructor and that only makes learning way too slow.

Altough travelling is an increasingly popular activity, there are a lot of people who don’t consider the possibility of travelling solo. You won’t regret it!

What does a day at a surf camp look like¿
You will wake up at a surf house and will share breakfast with other people from all over the world. After that you will be probably be directed to the surf school and, being given your own surfboard and wetsuit, you will be told in what group you’re in, depending on your surfing level.
Than you will go to the beach, take the directions from the instructor and enjoy your surfing lessons. After that: lunch, more surfing and fun and beers before sleeping and charging energy for your next day.
