Adaptive surfing will celebrate its world championship from March 11 to 15 in La Jolla, California.
Adaptive surfing is growing up these times thanks to the work effort and ivolvement of many people who are making a greater inclusion in sports world. In this case we talk about adaptive surfing, an example for things well done, since this is the year with the greatest participation in tis history.
2020 is a great year for adaptive surfing and its increasing, as the spanish national coach Luis Pérez “Gigi” said: “We’re going from only 3 athletes to 13 in only one year”
January 25th was the first call for the spanish national adaptative surfing team at the beach of Somo (near our Surf Camp in Spain) to train for the ISA World Para Surfing Championship. This tournament is going to be between March 11 and 25 in La Jolla, California.
The national spanish team has the most complete team in its history and aspires to be among the 6 best teams in the world of Parasurfing in the next world championship. California will be the stage to present the candidacy to participate in the next Paralympic Games in Paris.
The California World Cup will lay the groundwork to continue working during the following years to achieve the objectives in a sport that manages to break down all barriers and bring its practice to the whole world.
So, the national adaptative surfing spanish team coaches Luis Pérez and Lucas García have formed a great team with the following members who are going to be at 2020 ISA World Para Surfing Championship:
